This is an interesting class. Though Hammatt, while I would recommend him, is kind of odd and he doesn't go by the book. He has a lot of interesting views. I learned a lot though and he got me really interested in education.

Hammatt did his own version of the class and he was great!! If you are going to take this class take it with him!

Terrible class...The assignments are worthless for the most part and graded too hard.

Hammat... Where do I start he rambles to say the very least... He loves to hear himself talk so be prepared to be bored to tears. Overall easy tests but alot of outside work and I mean alot! Get ready for projects if you take Hammat

Way too much work for a class that should have been easy. Alot of assignments that were graded hard.

Too many projects outside of class. Noel makes bad jokes and talks about his mom. The best thing I got out of it was interviews with teachers.

the class is not hard its is just that there is so many projects that you must do in order to earn an A and one major ppt proj at the end of the semester. dont take this class if you are looking for an easy A due to the many proj.

Kind of arrogent, but knows his stuff -- same material appeared on every test -- assigned some stupid group projects.

Hammatt assigns lots of out-of-class work, which is fine if you have no other classes this semester. Also, didn't grade a 200 pt. out-of-class assignment he gave. The class is great, however. He's just not the easiest instructor!

Way too many group projects and individual projects requiring too much outside time. It's OK for people who don't work or take a lot of other classes.

Proff Hammatt often forgot he was teaching on a college level and talked to us like we were in junior high....if you dont like cheesey jokes or dumbed down talk, dont take this class.
