1) Make sure she likes you (you will fail if she doesnt) 2)dont such up to much or to little 3)talk in class but not to much. She is very arrogant and unfair. I stayed in the couse but only to show her that I wouldnt fall to her criticism.

I must admit she struck me wrong at first but if you are easy going and not uptight then you will get along with her really well. Dont have an attitude cause she will have one too. If you make it fun, then the class is hellah fun!!! She lets u curse.

"Mentally unstable" is no joke! She will change assignment policies mid-course & assigns arbitrary marks. If she dislikes you, you will suffer. I am shocked that the university has ignored the consistently negative in-class evaluations of her.

Dr.Gourdine is the meanest and most rude human being I have ever met. Her ramblings show legitimate signs of psychosis and leave one filled with zero desire to learn due to the constant attacks.

Dr. Gourdine is very intimidating, unclear, and VERY difficult to work with. Even though I had an 'A', I ended up dropping the class (as did MANY others) because of the hostile classroom atmosphere that she creates.
