The Spanish department at LSU sucks, of course. However, Maritza Nemoga Moreno is the bomb. Funny sense humor, sympathetic grader, everything a college student loves.

Profe Nemoga is a great teacher. Spanish at LSU is departmentalized, so the tests aren't made by her. She prepares you for them cause she knows what will be on them though. Uses a lot of Spanish in class. Sit near the front and participate like mad. Easy to understand, easy to learn. But you'll need to work and do QUIA, which is expensive and stupid. Barely scraped an A for the class. And I did all of the homework.

Nemoga is incredibly funny and friendly. Class is really fun and relaxing and there is a lot of laughter. I was very nervous to take spanish but she makes it fun. Just a few homework exercizes online everynight, a few in class assignments, and a few tests. I loved her!!!!!

A lot of studying required, but Maritza was such a nice professor. She cared about our grades and was willing to help students out when they needed it. Make sure you attend class everyday because she takes attendance. If you have to take Spanish 1152, I would definitely recommend Maritza. This was one of my favorite classes.
