Kelly is pretty nice and funny. the material can be boring to some people which make them assume the teacher is bad but kelly gives powerpoints that are directly related to the tests. the powerpoints are not posted on moodle so go to class. gives 5% bonus for random essays throughout the semester which is a great grade booster. go to class and do the bonus and you should make an A.

Had to read and study a TON for this class and only got an 86 on the first test. the teacher is really boring but you have to go to class because he randomly gives clicker quizzes and they can really bring down your grade. if you go to class and keep up with the reading you should be fine though

Kelley and the subject are both boring, and he has started taking clicker quizzes to boost attendance, but it is only 10% of the grade. I got a B and never went to class, but I did do some studying. The material is pretty straight forward you just have to really know it. The tests are not tricky and all of it comes from the book. BUY THE BOOK. Kelley doesn't have much of a personality, but again his specialty is rocks. All bull shit aside, I was told to not take him but after finishing the class I really don't think he was as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

Doesn't let you have his powerpoints, doesn't answer questions about his tests, but he gives extra credit worth 5 points to your average. Be careful because he expects you to LEARN everything he says.

DO NOT TAKE THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE TO! I felt like I was a geology major when taking this course. There was way too much information and the test would have questions about some random detail that no one really paid attention because it seemed irrelevant. The class is boring and all Dr. Kelley does is flip through slides and talk. Class was not a neccesity because there werent really any notes to take.

The only time I went to class was to turn in bonus point papers which he posts on moodle a week before its do. If you take advantage of the bonus papers which are 1% point each and read the chapters a few hours before each exam you'll make an A.

This guy Kelley is an easy A and you learn the material. He keeps it interesting and is a pretty cool dude in my opinion. Extra credit assignements can earn you 5 FINAL GRADE points. So just get an 85 in the class and you have an A. He gives a study guide for the exams that are helpful. Exams are straight forward, no tricks or gimmicks. I learned a lot and would highly recommend this instructor. No reason you cant get an A in this course.

go to class and take notes. his tests are multiple choice and he offers extra credit up to 5% added to your final grade. no quizzes and attendance doesnt count. If i would have studied more i could have easily had an A.
