Love Dr. Fletcher. Go to class so you can get the notes, study those, you're golden for the tests. Play projects are easy and can be done the day of.

John Fletcher is not a bad teacher. But, I compared our assignments with friends in other sections of the same course and we were given SO much more work than the others! I felt it was ridiculous that we had to write essays/reviews about every play we saw, along with study guides, and a large essay at the end of the semester. And, he grades them all meticulously. He is an interesting lecturer and you can tell he loves theatre but I wouldn't recommend him for a 1000 level class.

Wonderful class. Easy A if you go to class and turn in all the assignments. 85-100 is an A. He is a great teacher and I would take any class of his. Definitely recommend it though it is a bit of work.

You must see 5 plays and do tons of homework in this class, so have plenty of free time; Dr. Fletcher makes theatre interesting though, and his classes are always pretty informational.
