Had Barber and switched to Roland. Best at this class by far. Easy to understand, takes time with the student, respects the students. Gives you sooooo much information to use;(websites, disk, online study guides) - you cannot help but do good in this class. I got an extra tudor (from the class) and it help through one difficult part. This guy is great. If you need an extra MATH - take ROLAND!!!

The professor was nice, the class material was not hard, you can easily grasp the material with a little work... There was a 15 point grading scale which was really nice and he drops your lowest 5 quiz grades (15 quizzes throughout the semester)

This class requires a LOT of outside work. Do not take it unless you absolutely have to. If you do, take Roland. Eccentric, but great lecturer for such a complicated subject matter. Made the class tolerable.

This class was pretty cool, not at all what I exspected. All the notes are posted on the net and the scale is 15 points rather than 10. Go to class thought b/c there are weekly 2 question quizzes- drops lowest 5.

Great class. Hard at first to grasp, but with a little work everything should come easy. Roland is kinda dorky, but he tries to make the class interesting.

Roland is a pretty cool and nice guy and really likes the material, but this class was the most confusing class that I have ever taken. I dropped it.

Teacher was nice, graded fairly, his first test was hard but the last two were easier, class needs a good amount of outside work to feel comfortable with the problems that are on tests.

Every time I went to class, Professor Roland would either mess up a problem or not reeeeally know how to finish working it. He did give a great curve, though. He has a silly sense of humor. He's a decent teacher, there are better, so look for them
