If you are going to take microbial physiology, do NOT take Battista. This class was far from being an introductory class. The exams were essay only, some of which were worth 30 points. STAY AWAY.

Dr. Battista's lectures are very intertaining but do not pretain to the tests. There is no book for the class and he changes the format of the test in the middle of the semester.

His tests are way too hard for an introductory virology course. He gives his "lab" workers special treatment if they're in his class by giving them test Q's bank, which is unprofessional.He's disrespectful to students.A fat mofo.

If it weren't for the memorization of protein names, its a good course with relavent diseases!... Dr. Battista is a bit heartless who also LACKS a well-rounded sense of care for students and student learning!!!!!
