Hrincevich was a really great professor if you took responsibility for the course and did the assignmed work. Come on...this is not rocket science like other people make it out to be! Read the chapters before class (or at least skim them), DEFINITELY GO TO CLASS (he gives out crazy random bonuses, even for attendance!), study what he gives you as a list for the exams. If you do that, you'll do great in his course.
He's got a really weird sense of humor and many times ended up laughing at himself when he realized he said something odd or funny. He is pretty laid back, but does not tolerate people talking while he is teaching. We had a few dumba$$es in our section that would not shut up and Hrincevich dealt with them accordingly.
If you are a NON SCIENCE MAJOR and need to take a Biology class, Hrincevich is the guy you want. He is compassionate and understanding if you have a problem in the course or need extra help. All around fair guy. His shaved head is a plus on him! :)
P.S. Don't call him "Mr." Adam or "Mr." Hrincevich, he hates it. I actually thought it was cool that I could call one of my professors by their first name (and actually, that is what he prefers). Made him seem like a real person and not just a stuffy, know-it-all professor.
