Ms. Garretson was a wonderful lab instrutor! I heard a lot of complaints from friends taking the other instructor, so I would highly recommend one of Pam's sections for the lab. It will usually take you at least 2 of the 3 hours, since the first hour (at least) is spent lecturing on the group of parasites you will be examining. There are weekly quizzes, but studying for a couple of hours the night before is enough to earn a high A. Exams are formatted much like the quizzes, so they are also a good gauge of how you will fare on those. Great companion for the lecture by Dr. Farrar.

Best lab i've taken at LSU. Material is very interesting. Definetly take lab with lecture because exams are complimentary. Garretson is very nice!
