Dr. Farrar was by far one of the best teachers that I have ever had. If you go to her office she is more than willing to help. Parasitology was by no means an easy course, but it is great for med school. Get ready to study a lot, but it will be well worth it in the long run.

This was an extremely interesting class, even as a non-PreMed student. Dr. Farrar has great stories from her time as a vet and explains the material very well. Be prepared to study hard for her exams and don't ignore the details! She is very clear about what is and isn't on her exams, but it is still a lot of information. Taking the lab at the same time is extremely helpful, as it is all the same information, in the same order, so the classes help you review for each other's exams!

This class is soooo tough. I went every day. Its contains a whole lot of information to study for, but if you study for about 2 weeks in advance then youll do fine. Im a last minuter so I didnt do too well. Dr. Farrar is really nice. She has a sarcastic personality but she is willing to help you with anything anyway she can. You must go everyday though.

I took the class through independent study and really enjoyed it. It is definately tough, but a good alternative if you cannot make it into the class because it is full. The grading is very in depth and shows you what's on the tests.

Her tests are unbelievably difficult! There are about 50 questions a test all fill-in-the-blank (really essay). Don't take this if you need it to graduate. Pick another upper level! It's an unbelievable amount of info!!!
