KATCHMER M (LATN)

He is awesome! Very theatrical and entertaining to listen to. He gets very excited about Latin. He tells you what to study for each quiz and exam. He also allows you to drop a quiz grade for every 6 quizzes you have and you start with one drop. He is really nice and I would definitely recommend him. Latin is a good language to take because you dont have to speak it. I feel like its more like math because everything is so constant. You are just plugging in endings and you just need to memorize the vocab.

Dr. Katchmer was an excellent teacher. He was well prepared for each class and went at a decent speed. He was very helpful outside of class too.

This man is the stereotypical latin teacher-weird but fun. He's definitely a character, but he's a great teacher and you'll remember what you learn. Study hard for tests, but he gives bonus! Go to class, he likes that.

Wonderful Teacher! Well prepared for class, Fair grading, Not a boring teacher!! I literally knew NO latin before I got into his class..Also tells you exactly what you need to know for tests and quizzes--no surprises! Highly recommended!!

Simply put: Avoid Latin at all costs if you can.

Latin is awful, but he is a great teacher. He makes the class very interesting when it really isn't.

Katchmer was funny and fair. Made it easy to go to class at 7:30 in the morning! Take him.

He is great! He is so energentic he makes the subject come alive. He's a great teacher and is very fair with grades. It's not good to miss alot of class though.

The only criticism I have about Katchmer is sometimes he speeds through very important points about the language. Also, the quizzes while useful in keeping up your grade get to be boring and a pain in the butt after a while.

I just don't like having homosexual teachers. It makes me uncomfortable. He also isn't a good teacher.

Face it the only reason to be in any foreign lang. class is b'c it is required, but if you do have to do it choose Dr. Katchmer. He was funny and fair

Very enthusiastic teacher, I had to take it early in the morning and he kept me up, not a bad class if you have to take it, DOES NOT GIVE QUIZES EVERY DAY,
