CHRISTIE A (ACCT)

Dr. Christie is a wonderful man with a big heart. He is also incredibly intelligent. His lectures are somewhat difficult to follow, and it is easy to get lost because he just writes stuff on the overhead as a review. It was very hard for me to follow his lecture and pay attention, and the textbook is far more detailed than it needs to be. If you wait until the last minute to study like I did, you will be very stressed. To study, just keep up with the practice problems and try to get your hands on an old test- focus on these things rather than the textbook. He also grades on a curve which helps people out a lot.

The class was not that bad if you study the practice problems he gives and an old test.

If you want an A or a B, take Rakow or Holmes, I repeat if you want an A or a B take Rakow or Holmes. He is so boring, and he uses his own book, but there's not enough in the book to help you learn.

Andrew makes you learn the material, so if you like to memorize, stay away. He's a nice guy though and has alot to offer if you are willing to learn the material.

Pretty fair on grading. Only grades are tests. His teaching style will probably put you to sleep. Uses his own notes and no book. Probably want to take another teacher but overall not a hard class.

This class is impossible! Christie is a bad communicator and the tests are ridiculous! Theres only 3tests with 5questions on them! Stay Away!!!

Christie is a douchebag. European accent and cockiness bothered me. Going to class and studying 3 hours before a test got me a B. Online textbook REALLY sucks. He just copies it for class I found out later...

Christie has his own way. He prepares his own exams, so no stupid computer exams. Everything you need is on the internet, so you don't even have to go to class. But his final is hard.

Christie's tests are really, really hard. If you learn material to apply it you'll do okay - don't memorize. You learn A LOT taking Christie though.

The test are hard but he grades them fairly. He really makes you think...

Read the material, do the homework, and study before the test and it's a piece of cake.

Christie is a GREAT teacher, get him now classes fill up fast, will do anything to help u, makes class fun, test are hard but preps u for it

Dr. Christie is a great teacher who knows what he is talking about. As long as you try you will definitely pass! HE ROCKS!!!!

He has his own "book" and it is not good because you really have nothing to reference your questions to. His tests are all concept and fill in the blank (comic strips) and nothing you've seen before. He is really good though and easier than the rest.

Good teacher. He wants you to learn the concepts as a whole...not just memorize definitions. No one gets lower than a C.

He wrote the book for the class, so watch out he is really hard, pay attention and study and you'll do okay though.
