KNAPP J (PSYC)

I don't know what it was about Knapp's class but I could only get B's on the tests. I've had other psyc classes that I've done fine in but hers was probably my least favorite. It wasn't bad, it was just OK. She does ask some random stats on her tests though so make sure to look at those while you are studying. I didn't like having to go for 3 hours on Wednesday nights (we were never there for the fully 3 hours though, we usually were let out between 8:15-8:30). She was not bad but there are better psyc teachers to pick for this class. (btw she switches between wearing the same 3 outfits during class which was a little weird. my friends and i made a game of trying to guess what she would wear that night haha)

She was ok, kinda boring ... but she made good examples that related things to life

This course is excellent. I have very mush interested with this course. I will recemommend this course to all my friends and family.

Knapp is awesome! She gives tons of examples for all the notes so it is so much easier to understand ... her tests are meant to challenge you but if you ahve studied you will do fine, i got an A on all of them. She occasionally curves but not a ton ... i took the night class and she let us out warly almost every time ... basically she is awesome and you need to take her

This class is a breeze. Knapp is a delight. It's a 2-hour night class but time flies when you're in it because Knapp is hilarious. The tests are identical to the notes. And the material is common sense.

This class was SO hard. The fact that it was 3 hours and a night course was not bad. Knapp is such a good teacher and you learn A LOT and she keeps it as interesting as possible, but grading? hell no. She was terribly unhelpful & her tests were like 60-100 definitions with essays. There are only 4 exams and a few quizzes. I had to drop the class after getting a 30 on the first test. Very informative teacher, but she should not be teaching such a low-level class.

Easy! I almost never read the book and always made an A on the test. A few questions (~3) come from the book, but you can still make an A if you miss em. Most questions come from the notes. I made As on all the tests, and I never read the book. The material is interesting (some is common sense), and you can apply what you learn. Knapp gives note outlines on Moodle. She's a great lecturer and you can apply what you learn out of class. She is kinda scary the first day, but she's a great lecturer, and you'll learn a lot!

This professor was the worst I have ever dealt with. I ended up dropping her class and taking my only W so far because she was too incompetent to even inform me if she would have a grading curve or why some exam questions had 2 right answers but only one was acceptable. If you take her class be prepared to make a B in it max.

Interesting material. Easy multiple choice tests. I went to all lectures and only studied the day before each test and got A's on all of them. Read the textbook and lecture notes, and used the book's website to prepare.

i liked the course but not the teacher. i learned no much better by reading the book and not going to the class. it easy, but lots of reading. you dont really need to go to class if you have notes.

I took this as a night class and she holds you the ENTIRE 3 hours! The material was interesting but the instructor had this holier-than-thou attitude I hated. She also went off topic alot which made class last forever. Take another teacher.

I highly, highly recommend this class, with this professor, to students interested or even remotely interested in psychology. This class was a breeze, and the tests are nothing more than vocabulary exams. Even so, you learn a lot of wholesome things.

Material is interesting and she uses examples to help you remember. She doesn't post notes, but classes send emails every day asking for them. Exams are pretty straightforward! Use the book's website to help prepare.

Great teacher. She explains even the most basic things with simple analogies to help you out. Final is NOT cumulative. Easy A.

Jennifer Knapp is an engaging and excellent instructor with a well-structured teaching style.

fun class and she sort of interesting but she didnt prepare you for the test and not matter what i did i never got the grade i wanted when i studied.

Interesting class. Ms. Knapp has a great teaching style. She seems like an up front person and you know that she knows her material. That makes you want to be interested in it to. Just make sure you go to class and take notes, and study them.

HILARIOUS personality, makes class fun, also very passionate about psychology.. extra credit opportunities... VERY interesting material.. definitely recommend both the class and Knapp

this class seems like it would be a breeze, but it really does require a lot of time studying--definitely more than just the notes!!

She's fun, with a unique sense of humor. She gives great % bonus points for experiments. Makes the class easy.
