Ms Zhou is very strict about attendance. She does not offer make up work even with a medical excuse. Basically if you're not there, you better be dead. However, she does really care about your understanding of the material. As far as outside work I thought it was MUCH better than other languages like Spanish. minimal homework, but lots of vocab quizzes, etc. If you go to class and show her you're trying, you will probably do great.
