DO NOT TAKE MCCUTCHAN! He does not teach you anything. I studied all the time and still do not even know how to say hello my name is____. Take anyone else but McCutchan...and he smells bad too.

I did not like this teacher at all. He always looked like a bum off the street and was kinda creepy also. I did not learn much Italian at all since all he talked about was how he smokes weed and drinks wine. Yuck

Big fan of the italian language but Mccutchan was very difficult to learn from. Very considerate and always willing to help in any way but does not understand the concept of TEACHING a foreign language.

McCutchan was a HORRIBLE teacher. He CAN NOT teach and he is unprepared and sloppy. DO NOT TAKE HIM! Take Martinez instead

McCutchan is great if you prefer to learn on your own (not a very good teacher). The good thing about him is that he gives you exactly what the test is going to be on. He grades fairly and is willing to help if you ask.

He's a great guy...cool to chill with, but as far as teaching skills go, he highly lacks. You literally have to teach yourself EVERYthing before the tests. He speaks in all Ital and never tells you what he's just said...all he does is read aloud...

Boring class, with a dull teacher. You'll basically have to teach yourself everything. Go to class or you'll miss important information, since he never emails students. You could very well show up to the wrong room to take your final.

if you want a flexible instructor, take mccutchan.. you have to teach yourself italian,but the instructor is really flexible.. you have to study a bit more for mccutchan, but he doesn't turn you down when you want something

he is a VERY friendly guy, gives out test questions before each test, gives lots of bonus, but doesnt teach at all.

His class was a joke. Great guy, but i didn't learn anything in class. The class consisted of writing down translations from the board and reading them in English. We never spoke Italian. I had to teach myself the entire semester.

if u can teach yourself this class is ok but if plan to continue with italian, you will be screwed if you take him. he knows his stuff but doesnt know how to teach it. i barely went to class and got an A

McCutchan is a very nice man, but he isn't the best teacher. He fails to motivate the students and speaks entirely too much in Italian for beginners. Also, he doesn't stick to the curriculum, so you find yourself behind at exam time.
