Schwarz is the laziest professor in the ISDS department and this was even before he got tenure. I imagine it will only get worse if that's possible. Class is a joke, but he no longer grades leniently like he used to do. You will most likely get a B.

This class was almost entirely group work. For lectures, he stood up in front of the class and BS'd about the material (there are factual errors in his lectures). He mostly knows what he's doing, but it seemed like this class was just naptime for him

Too much random crap to do for what the class is, but an easy B. Schwartz is interesting, but the class is dumb if you're a 'real' ISDS major, and by real, I mean that you're fully prepared for your future career and your degree is just a formality.

'A' grade easily achievable; nice guy; can skip class from time to time; group project presentation in front of large group

Schwarz is nice and laid back, but material is boring. Group projects require fair amnt. of work, but not too bad. Tests are hard, but he curves A LOT. Good class

Schwarz is awesome and sooo nice...also wants everyone to make an A...boring but not hard material

Look forward to a great professor who does not read from the slides, he gives the slides on SB, gives you study guides (watch the drawings) and you have to do 2 group projects (not too difficult--kinda fun)

Schwarz is great!! The class is great! He keeps it fun and interesting. You will have to speak in front of the class with a group, and attend guest speakers. Overall a great class!
