If you want to spend your entire semester on this class take Hammer. He is very fast paced and does little examples

I would not recommend Hammer. He stopped letting student drop lowest test and gives 3 test instead of 4. Probably 50% of the class had dropped after Test 2.

If you really want to learn Org chem, choose Dr. Hammer. He is fair, intelligent, and challenging. His tests/prob sets inspire thought and bonus opportunites were abundant. Secret to an A is diligence.

Dr. Hammer is a really nice guy, but he has a hard time bringing the material down to our level. He doesn't explain it very well. His tests are like his problem sets, though.

Dr. Hammer was a nice teacher but he went over the material a little quickly. You have to really pay attention to understand. He was still a nice teacher and the exams were just like the old exams.

I would definitely reccommend this class above regular organic, especially if you need to have a good grasp on the material.
