I have never made a B in French before and Dubernet gave me a B because of my lack of "participation." I only missed 1 class and always turned in my assignments so I don't know how I wasn't "participating." Otherwise, you really get to the nitty gritty of French grammar so it's a good review class.

The only B I have ever made in French and I've taken it for 7 years. He gave me a bad participation grade so it brought my grade down. You basically have to teach yourself because he is so scatter brained in class. He doesn't really respond to emails or understand English very well.

Dubernet was the nicest and sweetest guy and is always available for outside help. He teaches from powerpoints, but he does make hard material seem easier. He was great. Take him if you can.

Dubernet is very nice and wants you to learn French. However, his English is less superior than he expects your French to be sometimes. If he knows that you try and put forth lots of effort, I think he is more likely to give u partial credit on tests

Dubernet is a funny, interesting teacher, and his class was very enjoyable, give it just a little effort and it's an easy A.

Bernard Dubernet is a GREAT teacher. He has a positive attitude and jovial personality and insists that there are "no bad questions!" The material is difficult but he makes it an enjoyable experience.

Mr. Dubernet was a very competent and interesting professor, I highly reccomend his course, I learned a lot from him and enjoyed it. Do be prepared to attend every class, he expects it, but it is definately worth your time.

the material can be a bit difficult, but Dubernet really brings it to life. Be prepared to use the internet and buy the book.
