I'm sure there are easier teachers you can get but Longstreth isn't horrible. His exams are pretty hard and he only gives you one hour so it's hard to double check your answers. He barely curves. I crammed the night before every exam and got an A. His lecture notes help but often became jammed with diagrams mid-semester.

Longstreet was a great teacher! He is funny in class. Also he has these outlines you print out and fill in in class and at the end there are questions which is where the test comes from. He curves 5-6 points at least on every test and if you put a little studying time in and just go to class you will be good to go

This class takes a lot of outside time. I read the textbooks and did the lecture questions he gives every now and then and got an A in the class. Lectures will be a complete waste of time if you haven't looked over the material before you go to class. Homework and quizes bring up your average a good bit.

Longstreth's class takes up a lot of your time.. when he says to study every night he isnt kidding however he isnt the hardest bio teacher and he gives 8 to 10 points bonus on pretty much every test. be ready for some pop quizzes though &go to class!

Dr. Longstreth is a great teacher for freshman biology majors. He provides outlines/ study guides for all lectures and the answers to his study guide questions that are relevant for the test. His test are tricky, but he gives nice curves.
