She has an accent so that may be hard for some students to cope with but it isn't very heavy. As long as you come to class, you get plenty of bonus points from quizzes in class. Be sure to check your syllabus because she sometimes doesn't remind you when assignments are due. The assignments are straightforward and tests are straight from slides.

She's rude & acts like ur in a boarding school. She asks the most random questions on quizzes & makes optional outside lectures count as quiz grades which brings down ur grade if you can't attend them even thought they're suppoed to be 'optional'.

she's evil. she puts on a false front like she's willing to help u, then she treats u like ur stupid when u ask her a question. her test grading isn't fair either.

Vague, demeaning, unhelpful; HAD NO clue what she was doing; weekly quizzes bring grade down; short answer, draw diagram & case studies on exams; remember the material, not learn; MNT 1 lab made more sense than lecture

As is Chanmugam, exams are sketchy-usually multiple answers could be right, but she wants just one, the class itself wasn't too bad though.

Dr. Chanmugam can be a little fussy at times but the course material is fairly easy and you are guaranteed an A if you review your notes and do assignments exactly the way she wants them done. Also give minor point opportunities to help grade.

definitely not an easy A with this teacher. course content was interesting and pretty useful but all she does is read from slides and give random quizzes. felt like high school class with all her lame projects. tests are ridiculous/impossible

Chanmugam is by far one of the worst teachers I have ever had. She just reads off powerpoints and is never clear about what she wants. The course is interesting..Take another teacher!!

Interesting class but hard to understand Chanmugam's accent. A lot of in class points, newspaper articles due every week and some homeworks throughout the semester. Computer based testing for exams.

You cant understand anything she says, all her notes are online, extra credit opportunities, but her tests are really confusing, so be prepared to study hardcore before an exam

this course was needlessly hard, i enjoyed the material but the tests failed me! no matter how well you think u know this stuff, her tests WILL fail you! very bad, foreign teacher!

SO Boring! If we wouldn't have had quizzes, I wouldn't have come to class at all. I could have taught this class better than this lady and she has a PhD!
