Do not listent to any other reviews!!! Stay as far away from this class and teacher as possible or expect to study 20+ hours for each geol tests.

Physical Geology is interesting, but complicated stuff. If you're good in science and can appreciate all the different eons and eras then it's great. Bart on the other hand was a disaster. Impossible to get in touch with, and exams were arbitrary.

Bart is boring, don't have to go to class. If you print the notes and read the book you should be fine. Tests are okay not too hard.

Omg def take mr. bart if ur gonna take this class. He is very nice and easy, he puts all of his notes online so u doin't ever have to go to class. But geol is pretty boring though

Unless you have a deep passion for Geology, avoid this course - Bart's tests are as specific as splitting atoms and he makes no effort to spice up the already-dull material. He does offer extra credit, but you're gonna need it!

powerpoints of the lecture were available to students. i did not think pr bart was boring, i thought his voice was funny, and that he did a good job keeping the class interesting. don't sit in the back or you can't hear him

excellent easy teacher. notes are at the copy shop, but I recommend you go to class. I read the book with the notes the night before the test & got A's. Tests have extra credit ?'s & he gives extra credit ?'s in class in lieu of curving.

I would recommend Dr. Bart. All of his notes were in the copy shop. I found the course a little boring though...

this class is sooooo boring!!! if you dont have to take it then STAY AWAY!! the teacher is very monotone and heard to hear. class not that difficult though. notes are in the copy shoppe!

He is so easy. If you study you can get an A in the class. You don't have to go to class cause his notes are in the copy shop and his tests come straight from these notes.

Bart is a cool guy the subject matter is very boring though. He puts his notes in the copy center. Tests are REALLY tough even after hours of studying. Does give bonus opportunities. Too difficult for an intro level course.

Never went to class. All notes are in copy center.No need to go to class.Just study a couple hours the night before the exams.
