He basically teaches the test.
Take the notes he gives, memorize them 30 minutes before each test or quiz, and make an A.
His is a good man as well. Holds his office hours in the quad (which is pretty bad@ss).

This is the easiest/best "math" (yes, it counts as a math credit) course ever. It also does help that Barber is the the most awesome professor at LSU. This old man's weird humor will have you in stitches. The material is great.

When i think of all of the great times I had here at LSU Thom Barber is one of my fav. memories! I will def come back and visit this cool man! If u want to know a true prof. who honestly cares about his students then take him. You'll thank me.

Thom Barber is easily the most interesting and amusing professor that I've had at LSU. I highly recommend his class to anyone who isn't intrested in taking another boring math class!

Whether you need that 3 hour math, or are a PHIL major, take Barber. One of the most thorough and lucid professors I've had. The tests reflect the material he covers 100%, so you never have to worry that you'll waste time studying. Barber's great.

Tom Barber is very funny and very nice, if you go to class and do the homework it is an easy A. I Highly reccomend anyone to take this class, esp if you don't like math and need to take one (this counts as a math)
