He's a great teacher, laid-back and friendly. Study and you'll do fine. He sings sometimes and it's hilarious. Renewed my interest in Psyc. Let us out early too (3 hr course)

dr. spears is awesome but he isnt teaching at lsu anymore, dixion was my teacher and he suckes! i've never made lower than an A in any psyc course except this one. dixion sucks. his test are 100 ?'s and are really hard. in class he reads the book

The class was interesting, but Dr. Spears was always talking about things that had nothing to do with the subject and some of his test questions were from out of nowhere. Take the class, just with somebody else.

easy teacher but he likes to put questions on the test from his personal experience which usually have little to do with psychology. just read the book and u'll still get an A

Dr. Spears is AWESOME!! Take him if you have the chance. You have to study for his tests, but if you do they are pretty easy, all are multiple choice. He also gives you extra credit points that are added to your final grade.

Spears is hilarious and has the ability to make a 3 hour class enjoyable. The tests are a bit hard at first, but become easy when you get used them.

Dr. Spears is a great teacher. He loves what he does, and makes class very enjoyable. Don't be surprised if he busts out in "Take me out ot the ball game" to wake the class up! Take him...he's hilarious!

Dr. Spears reminded me of the Dude. He was chilled out and funny, and the class is very interesting. Reading the text will get you an A, and going to class is a plus.

Save your time - this teacher is horrible. Gave us horrible tests that had nothing to do with the lectures and even told us that he had made some bad tests. He was never in his office and hardly ever responded to emails! Avoid this man
