Fun class. The music isn't too terrible. Lane was a funny guy, corny with lots of 80's references, but very nice and told you exactly what was on the tests. Not a hard class at all. And ended class early every day.

Didn't really teach the course very well. But if you study the lecture notes, which he presents in power point slides, you can make a good grade on the test.

Lane is a nice guy (kind of corny); he lets you know exactly what he expects of you; the tests are pretty easy (just learn the listening parts); there are several bonus ops

Mr. Lane was a boring teacher, but I went to his class everyday *sleepy*. The things that he was interested in, he made that subject very interesting...there were some fun activities also.

If you take this class he is okay but you have to like that type of stuff (Music History)!!!
