Breaux is a great teacher, the best I've had at LSU. He comes off rough around the edges but cares about his students. Prepare to read before class and attend all classes.

Breaux is hilarious but can scary at first. Uses weird grading scale.(A = 93-100 B =86-92 C=80-85) He takes attendance be prepared to be embarrassed if you never go to class.

really mean at first but ended up but super cool-- but get on his good side, i.e. GO TO CLASS AND VOLUNTEER TO READ CASES!! - it will help him remember you and like you so if you do bad on the tests, he will probably just give you at least a B.

If you plan on not coming to class and cannot take a public berating, don't take this class. Otherwise, phil keeps you interested and is very insightful. Must study for tests to make good grades.

Probably the most useful class I've ever taken at LSU; Practical knowledge that everyone will use at some point (contracts, agents, bankruptcy, etc); not an easy class, but youll learn a lot.

I love this man! His 3202 is even better than his 3201 b/c he wrote his own book for the second course (I hated the book he used for 3201). Entertaining, great, GREAT, teacher! I never wanted to miss class! BY FAR BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD IN 5YRS!

i thought it was easy... breaux kept the material fun and never held class the whole time, but it turns out that breaux doesnt use a 10 point grading scale! i recommed breaux but be prepared to study alittle harder to meet his grading scale.

GO TO CLASS!! esp the last one b/c he tells you what's on the final! This is my only college class that I never skipped! read the cases and book. If you sit in the front, he'll physically use you in his examples, but it's funny! Very entertaining!!

Breaux is a trip-funniest teacher I've ever had--looking forward to 3202!If only go to class u can easily make B;to make A, read book; 3 hr night class but never keeps u the whole time--entertaining so class goes by quickly!

awesome guy. funny and nice, pretty much. you have to keep up with readings and cases bc he gets pissed if you dont, but thats not much to ask. he is the best blaw teacher & much easier than anyone else. his test avg is 80 everyone else is much lower

Don't take this teacher if you skip class EVER. Takes attedance, does not use 10 point grading scale so much harder to make an A and he doesn't curve. Overall great teacher, makes the material very interesting. MC tests out of book.

Interesting material but Breaux really made the class worth while! Never kept night class 3 hours! Always come to class prepared, he has a tendency to call you out on it. Tests fairly easy if you study- use text study guide!

Grading scale sucks, but I think he curves at the end. Besides that, he is the BEST teacher for this course. He's so interesting and hilarious. Take it as a night class and you won't stay long. Get the study guide for the book for test questions.

Phil is funny and engaging. I found the material very enjoyable and valuable, only down side is the grading. tests are short true-false with little room for error the grading scale is not standard (i got a $%&#$ 91 B)

IT DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN BREAUX. Some people dont like him, buts cuz they dont go to class or do the things he ask, which isnt much. You will have to read some cases (which are an avg of 2-3 pages) but besides that his notes are east to take.

This is a great class that presents really life situations. He teaches you stuff for life, not just the test. Tests are multiple choice and true/false straight from the book. You must go to class and read the book.

His grading scale is worse than high school. An 84 and below is a C, and you must have a 93 to get an A. It doesn't seem too bad at first, but near finals you'll realize how much the grading scale sucks.

I had to drop this class because of medical reasons. You have to read before class everyday. When he calls on you to tell the class about the case, you better know it. I didn't and he told me to literally "get out." I could go on. He is an SOB.

Phil Breaux was awesome. I really enjoyed the material and he was very funny. He understands that Fridays are holidays and lets class out early. It is key that you read the material and cases, but the reading isn't boring like most classes.
