Oh my gosh, she is a trip. If you like activity (her moving at a rapid pace across the class) then take her. She is extra sweet and very fair and easy with grading. She may lose your papers or take years to grade them but you come out ok in theend

Easy A, entertaining/interesting, I highly reccomend the class, Zimmer was WAY TOO HYPER, Imagine a 2 yr old on a perpetual sugar high, talked so fast she kept runni out of air, VERY unorganized never returned papers lost papers but everyone got an A

11 bland books, 7 critical responses, 1 final essay, 2 exams, a quiz for every book, an adolescent reader paper, a letter to an adolescent reader, and several presentations. Yeah, good way to make adolescent lit not fun at all. Take someone else....

Ms Zimmer is a great prof. My writing skills were avg at best, but she was always willing to help. I got a lot out of this class & recommend her highly.

Zimmer is very animated and interesting teacher; flexible and listens to feedback. Course requires much more reading than writing. Class is mostly discussion. Great for students who enjoy analyzing/interpreting what they read.
