This class would have been fine is not for the teacher. He is 100% the worst teacher I have had @ LSU. He gives quizzes and homework EVERYDAY that require @least 2 hours of preperation. AVOID HIM @ ALL COSTS

He made the class as interesting as you can make learning Latin. But, he has quizes almost daily.

I took the first lTook the 1st latin 3 yrs ago. Vogeler is German, but funny. Loves to joke around & makes latin interesting. Attendance is a MUST. There are 50 quizzes and 5 tests. STUDY! It's all about Grammer and translating. Requires lots of time

Laid back and has a great love for teaching. The "Latin Show" is Great.
