MCKILLOP H (ANTH)

Everything is on scantron. She's really funny and her class is interesting.

McKillop is biased with course content. Significant contributions to archaeology are largely ignored in favor of life experiences and some of the information deemed "fact" is incorrect. Buying the book was required and yet, only five questions would be taken from the book for 50-question exams. It was a total waste of money and insensitivity on McKillop's part. The class is really easy if you attend to write down notes, but it's painful to sit through.

Archaeology is a somewhat interesting class. It has days where Mckillop is a riot. She can be so amusing and some days her stories incorporated to the material really bring archaeology to life. However, there are some classes where the material, and/or her stories, make you fall asleep so fast you don't even know that it's happened. The class is a good introductory course, and an easy A. Class-Fun, Professor-Awesome at her best, snooze fest at her worst

Take an easier professor especially if this course is only an elective for you.

I hated this class. McKillop would talk about things in lecture that you wouldnt think would be important, like her experiences or her friends stories. I was always confused on what seemed to be study worthy.

Test were stupid. She would ask questions about things I didnt even feel important to study. Lectures felt like more about a converstation about her life than learning and it made note taking difficult. I could barely get myself to study that crap

Go to class and pay attention. that's all you have to do to get an A!

McKillop was a great teacher and i very excited about the work she does making it easy to listen and learn. The exams come directly from the lectures soo class is required

Heather McKillop is very passionate about the subject and has one of the greatest personalities you'll find at LSU. However, unless you are interested in the subject, you may have serious trouble with this class, like me. Not a blowoff class.

WARNING TO ALL BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE MAJORS!!!!! avoid this class like the plague!!! i made strait A's in all of my chem and biol classes but ruin my GPA over this. its good for other majors but STAY AWAY BIOLOGY MAJORS!!!! head my warning.

Loved the class, her stories, and her. Pay a bit of attention, but just being there's the important part because she gives you questions from things she does in class. Easy A.

She is awesome. Really nice and funny. Teaches alot about her personal experiences in Canada and Belize but it's really interesting.

Amazing teacher. Lectures were so good I couldn't stand to miss class. Take her if you can. McKillop will inspire you.

Dr. McKillop is the best! She is way interesting and the class is great, especially if you're going to go on digs, like I have. I only got a C because I was sick for three weeks and missed a lot. If you don't go to class, you won't do good.

McKillop is awesome. She's quirky and fun. GO TO CLASS. The information is easy and fairly limited, my grade reflects my attendance. I liked her a lot though.
