This class could be cool, but Carney is the most painfully boring professor i've ever had. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!

This class was basically easy but you do have to learn music for the listening part on your exams. Test questions were sometimes a little tricky for the amount of information given.

CARNEY, LIKE MOST TEACHERS REALLY DID EXPECT YOU TO KNOW THE MUSIC , THE MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS CAME DIRECTLY FROM THE NOTES, BUT MOST RAN INTO TROUBLE WITH THE LISTENING PART OF THE TESTS

GET OUT, IF YOU CAN! he was so boring, anal, rude, and mono-toned. it was an hour class and i could hardly stay awake. random pop quizes, sometimes 3 in one week. started on exactly on time and ended 5 after. HORRIBLE TEACHER!!!!

This class is easy, but it's so extremely boring. Carney is uptight and makes corny jokes, but tells you exactly what is on the tests.

Very easy teacher. He gives you the notes and the test is the exact information from your notes....EASY EASY A!

Carney is a horrible teacher. He makes easy material seem hard, and loves to hear himself play the piano. TERRIBLE!

He likes to hear himself play music, the class is boring, and the tests are too hard for an elective class

The class is OK, but could have been alot easier for just being an elective. I would not suggest this teacher at all, though. He was very boring......

Dude, listen to me. I know your friends said that this class was a breeze. They lied. You've got to study pretty hard and the music sucks. I did appreciate classical music-until I took this class.

This teacher is a major music lover and expects everyone else in his class to be too. The amount of meterial is ridiculous and the grading scale is insane.The extra credit for the concerts was not always awarded becasue of glitches in the program
