Namikas SUCKS!!! She's sooo boring and hard to follow! She talks like she's giving a public speech, not teaching a class. Her tests are all essay--way too intense for a lower level class. Take someone else for this class.

Dr. Namikas is rather boring and lectures the entire class period at the lecturn, she makes you want to fall asleep in her class.

SOOO BORING! Had to so much about so many things... test were hard and unpredictable. TA grades hard. MUCH better teachers out there!

Namikas was a great teacher when I really needed an A just read the book she assigns and youll be ok.

challenging class that covered boring material...her history assistant grades the tests, so she has no say in the grades given...the assistant graded hard!!

Lise was a nice person but extremely BORING. But maybe just because its history. Her grader graded pretty easy....but you had to know what you were talking about. I would not recomend Lise or History 1001....But I don't like any history classes.

really boring class, her accent is aggrivating, she takes forever to return things, she doesnt use paws and doesnt respond to email, just dont take her there have to be better teachers

She is a great teacher...easy to understand and follow during lectures. Her lectures come straight from the book, so if you miss class, just read and catch up...it's not hard. The only problem was that her TA and her graded very differently!
