Nicholas is not only a very bad teacher, but a heartless monster. He does not care about your grade and does little or nothing to help you. This class is hard as it is. The last thing we need is a subpar teacher. Nicholas is scum.

ok i'm gonna be christian about this guy and say that I hear LSU is adding a new ECDI just b/c so many EDCI majors are switching majors after dropping/failing this class.GOOD LUCK! DO NOT take as a gen ed class save yourself

It's not like you have a choice but to take Nicholas and Pinar for this class. Both Nicholas and Pinar are basically living PowerPoint presentations. Nicholas is a bit better though, because he's not an old self-loving book-promoter.

The class wasn't that hard, just kind of boring. You don't have to go all the time as long as you keep up with the readings. You have to read the books to pass the exams. Basically it's a history class about education

Way too hard. you have to begin studying for tests like two weeks in advance. Definitly a wein out class but Nick is great and wants to help you.

Great, nice guy. Really intelligent and encourages critical thinking through MANY journals. Really helps students to tackle Pinar's crappy book and attempt to understand it. A lot of work, but informative.
