Great teacher. She was really passionate about what she was saying so it made you pay attention. Exams are all essay, but she lets you bring a page of notes to the test.

BC doesn't follow her outlines. She's extremely boring and reads straight from her notes. Often she tries to tell interesting stories or show pictures but it doesn't help. The class would be interesting if you take a good professor.

Sweeping generalizations and lectures about feelings of disillusionment make for a boring class based on bad historical interpretation. Let's put it this way: WWI took 1/2 a class and we concluded that people were sad. The cheat sheet is good.

GOOD teacher. Down to earth and is fair. Of course you are going to have to have respect to like this class but if you like history the material in this class is very interesting. GO TO EVERY CLASS and take good notes you will get a B.

Dr. BC was nice to look at and going to class and studying for a couple hours gives you an easy B. Got boring at times but BC is a milf. Short answer and essay tests not too bad. TAs grade exams.

She's great! She is friendly, personable, and wants her students to do their best! You have to study very hard for her tests and her TAs grade extremely hard - but getting a B is no problem! She's very energetic and it's a very interesting class!

I personally hate history, but she made me LOVE it! She is so passionate about the class, and she really makes the class come to life...I enjoyed going to her class, she was also very reliable and never late! I learned so much from her ...TAKE IT!

Dr. BC was a very good teacher. She made history interesting, which is hard to do. Grading was very lenient...if you pay attention in class and take decent notes, you'll pass no problem! Gives bonus at the end. I recommend you take Dr. BC!!

uh i hated this class!! dr. bc is really nice, but you have 2 tests and a final- the tests are essays and id's only, but they are really in depth to what you talk about! if u like to think then hey, this class might be good for you. not for me tho!

The info in the class is horrible and boring but the teacher is sweet and really tries to make it easy to swallow. she grades hard, but just write down everything and study alot. hard class but fabulous teacher. she gets emotional and passionate

She taught our class 7 months pregnant. She was so cute. She did a great job explaining everything. We got a front and back cheat sheet for the three tests...not bad at all. Take BC.

Benton-Cohen is new to LSU, but she's good- she kept the class moving along and interesting. If you go to class (and pay attention) you shouldn't have to study too much.

Dr. B-C was a great lecturer. She is interesting, funny, and gives the information in an organized manner. Her tests are straight forward and easy if you are use to taking history classes.
