You have to go to the plays, which is just like any other theatre class, except his assignments are SO MUCH easier. We were spossed to have 3 tests, and only had 2 &they were open notes. He's very understandable &overall enjoyable.

Mehler is a very unique individual. There were so many point opportunities so it didn't matter that i got c's on my tests, Would have pop quizzes and had to attend all plays performed by LSU.

If you have to take Theatre 1020, or if you need an elective, take Charlie Mehler! It's a fun class, you watch a lot of movies, and he's always willing to help bring your grade up! You have to go to class, though!

He is funny. He cares about the class. Makes lots of extensions on due dates. Flexible. Invited everyone to his New Years Eve party. Cool guy. Lots of bonus.

Charlie is a good teacher. He is very straightforward with the course material however his tests are a little tough. It doesn't matter though because there is so much extra credit you can earn to make up for it.

Our class had a great time with Charlie! He really loves what he's teaching, and is very enthusiastic...He has a great laugh! :) You have to go see 3 plays, take an open-book quiz everyday, and perform a 10 min. skit w/ a group, but it's worth it!

The class requires a lot of outside work, and the tests are a little difficult, but you get so much extra credit and other little assignments you can still get an A even if you do bad on all of the tests!
