This class is not too bad if you have the right teacher, all depends on how material is presented and enthusiasm of the teacher, and because of that, Barua is great.

ACCT 2001 is a total beast, but if you must take it, take Barua. He has a rather strong accent, but his personality and ability to relay information is awesome. He made accounting somewhat bareable. Cool guy, very funny. Always willing to help.

Mr. Barua is the nicest man EVER, but that doesn't have anything to do with the fact that he can't communicate well with his students. If you have NO problem with accents, take him because he cares about his students, but otherwise, don't.

ACCT has awfully boring and sometimes difficult content, but Barua was one of the best profs I have had. He was tirelessly dedicated to his students and did everything in his power to help us. Too bad ACCT is departmentally administered. STUDY HARD!

Barua is a good teacher and an even better guy....the man is basically hilarious....he does all that he can to help you in the class and thats all one can expect...highly recommended

It is to hard to understand him in class. When you ask a question, he doesn't answer the question, instead he rambles about something else. His test are very hard!!!

I recommend Barua only if you can understand English with strong accents. He is enthusiastic, and you can tell he really wants you to learn and pass. However, the communication barrier between teacher and student poses a problem.
