Great guy! Grades extremely fair and wants you to succeed. Grading scale is dropped 2 pts (ie. 88-100 is an A) and each test he allows you to omit one problem (grades the highest 7out of 8 prblms). Study a bit everyday and KEEP UP w/ work =)!

made me feel stupid on occasion, but generally a good teacher... gave lots of homework, but they were not too hard

Lawson is a great teacher, but his class is extremely hard if you don't have a great background in Calculus. Also, you will get very aquainted to webwork. You get homework almost every night.

Dr. Lawson was a great teacher. The homeworks were pretty easy, and so were the tests. Except the final exam. It was quite ridiculous.

dr.lawson is probably one of the best calc teachers... he truly wants to help you understand the material and he gives homework points for putting problems on the board. this should help your grade!

Hardest I've taken in 2 years. Lawson isn't that bad, he jsut doesn't explain it well. The material is exruciatingly difficult. Quiz every Friday, usually difficult.
