Math isn't my best subject, but this class wasn't too hard. Just remember to do all the recommended homework even though you don't have to. Sorrell is the coolest math teacher you'll ever have. He's really nice and funny and laid back.

Sorrell is his name and golf is his game. Scott is a great teacher and puts alot of his personality into his teaching. Always ready to answer questions. If you ask a dumb question he will pick on you haha. Take him hes a good guy.

I am really bad at math but Sorrell really tries to help and explain things to the student who dont understand. I had to drop this math class twice before i got him. I love this teacher!!!

Mr. sorrell was always excited about class, but didn't really offer any office hours for class and lost students easily.

Mr. Sorrell is just about the best math teacher I've ever taken. Gives good examples and makes even harder concepts easy. Tests are relevant and graded fairly.

He was very nice and went over the material well, but his tests were impossible and didnt cover what we went over in class

I love this man!! He is by far my favorite teacher! Its pretty bad when you can say Calculus is you favorite class! i like him soo muc im takin him for 1552! He cares about his students and wants you to do well! He has a great personality!

class SUCKS! but Mr. Sorrell is by far the best math teacher I've ever had, will meet with you whenever and as much as you need, HE'S GREAT if you work hard

Sorrell is great!! One of the best prof. I've had at LSU. He's young and knows what he's talking about. He is usually understanding and actually cares about his students. His tests are just like the homework he assigns... so do the homework!

He is a great teacher, but yes, math is hard. However, he's very fair and clear when he's teaching. Our class had one horrible test and he let everyone do a bonus project to get back half of the points we lost. He's a nice guy and a great teacher

Mr. Sorell the best Math professor one can ever have. I have an A in his class. He will help in all the possible ways. Tests are very easy. Straight from the book. He gives bonus problem which makes you fell confident about this course.

DO NOT TAKE SORRELL. He'll put trick questions on the test and laugh at those who are incorrect. Material covered in class is not reflected on exams. Obnoxious, stubborn, and heavily favors young attractive women.

This was my second 1431 experience, and Mr. Sorrell made the class so understandable and simple. If not for him, the class is hard and boring.
