HARDY J (HIST)

Hardy is the oldest teacher at LSU. Literally. He's been here for 45 years and hes just an old fart. He rambles on with his lectures and talks about the Cubs half the time. There are 4 papers due at the end of the semester and that's it. I waited until the last two weeks to crank all 4 out and got all A's. Easy but don't take it if you actually want to learn something.

Great class-Dr. Hardy knows everything about everything and his side stories are so interesting! Go to class, take good notes you you'll be fine. We had to write a 4 papers then 2 final papers, but the 4 papers were assigned periodically throughout the semester with suggested due dates but not really DUE until the end of the semester. If you turn them in before the end he grades them, returns them, and gives you the opportunity to rewrite them.

Hardy was really nice but we never knew our overall grades, because he didn't use Moodle. I liked the class but the TA was kind of a tool. He was the one that read/graded the paper's that we had to turn in and he graded them kind of weird. If you don't like writing essays though, I wouldn't take the class.

Very easy. never went to class. have four papers graded by teacher's assistant that you can rewrite as many times as you want. take this no doubt.

STAY AWAY! The only grades for the class are 2 essays and four quizzes that add up to equal the value of an essay. You HAVE to go to class so you don't miss a quiz, but the final is take home.
