class is very hard; 3 hours of homework everyday and you have to do it if you want an A. homework really helps you for the tests but is a pain to do. harrison has a good side but is kind of rude

It's a weed-out course, which explains why it is so difficult, but take Harrison. Dont expect to do understand H.W., it's impossible. I did terrible on all the tests and even got the lowest score in the class on one of them and still passed with a D.

It's a really tough class and is the weed-out course for chemical engineering undergrads. Harrison is a great teacher who believes in active learning, but be prepared to devote time (and lots of it) in order to do well!

There is no grading scale in this class. NONE. Which means he can give you whatever grade he wants. I scored the highest on EVERY exam including the final, and I only missed 4 homeworks (homework every night) and I got a C in this class: he's mean

Hardest class at LSU. Get ready to do 3-5 hrs of homework every night! Homework is hard as hell and test are damn near impossible. BIG CURVE AT THE END - - if you've made the class avg on all test, you'll get a C - -even if the avg is a 47!

he calls on students alphabetically so if you don't like being embarassed don't take him. tough class no matter what and i've heard the other two guys are worse teachers but he still is nothing special.
