Gwee is the WORST teacher you can dream of having. horrible handwriting, grades don't make sense, he doesn't even know where the final is.

Gwee is a terrible replacement for a doormat, much less a csc teacher. Leaves you to figure class out on your own, and dosen't teach 1/2 the stuff he expects you to use. Refuses to use a computer, I fear he is allergic to them.

Nigel Gwee is a headstrong idiot. I'd heard he was a Music PhD for god sakes, what is he doing in the CS department. These classes are so damn easy, but if you skip, this man will find ways to wreck your average. Find out for yourself.

i tried to give this guy a chance regardless of the negative comments, but i regret it now. he's unresonable, impatient, and pays favorites-especially with the girls. you only learn from you mistakes-after the test and after you failed everything!

Gwee tries to teach CSC like it's a seminar without telling you what you need to know to discus the subject. He wants you to magically know the material and then discuss your hang ups with your program in class.

The teacher has an extremely inconsistent grading style, and he teaches only what he wants; he openly told the class that he did not know what some of the items were on the syllabus....hope you have programmed before...

Has a strange way of doing some things, but you will discover they are for your benefit. Having prior programming knowledge is actually a disadvantage since you have to unlearn what you have learned. Take him.

his curriculum is what he wants, screw following the book! He tries to teach, but falls short. I pay out the !@# for a tutor, I recommend another teacher if at all possible

The content is very simple. Gwee does not care about the students. His grading is not clear. He expects us to do things that aren't in the book and that he never taught/mentioned. Also Gwee is kind of spacey. I believe he has a mental problem.
