He's hard to understand and doesn't communicate what he expects of you very well. It's not hard to get an A if you read the book though. His lectures are powerpoint and class is pointless.

Mr. Makienko is NOT the teacher you want for this class, his tests include fill in the blank questions that are insignificant and pointless. He reads right from the book in class and you can barely understand him. Find another teacher.

Makienko showed great concern for his students. He will give u many chances for bonuses.His accent is a little hard to understand, but he's worth taking! Easy A!!

Possible 2 mis @least 1 clas a week & still get A.Keep up w/syllabus.If like ur grade B4 final,u skip final.Just read notes on blkboard & book 4 test.Nice guy & curves 5 plus pts every single test.Curved 1 test 18 pts & grades werent that bad anyway

Thick accent makes comprehension difficult early in the morning. Very monotone, boring, teaches straight from book. Nice enough guy, just not a good teacher.
