Hoover wasn't very clear about what she wanted on essays, and graded very subjectively...just a caveat

I have mixed emotions about Ms. Hoover...she's a very interesting woman...there aren't any tests and it isn't much work until the end of the semester...during dead week i stayed awake 2 nights straight working on my final portfolio!

Ms. Hoover cares and is willing to show her students the path to a good great, but the portfolio process can be VERY stressful, especially around finals time! I got a good grade, and also learned a lot.

Ms. Hoover is very nice and cares about her students. At first she seems strange and hard to understand but she really is a good teacher. The class was more difficult than I expected.

THIS IS THE MOST UNORGANIZED, SPACED OUT WOMAN I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE! DO YOUR BEST TO AVOID HER. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS FOR AN ENGLISH TEACHER, WAIT AND TAKE 1002 ANOTHER SEMESTER.

THIS WOMAN HAS LOST HER MIND...she is EXTREMELY unorganized, always losing things, changing dates, changing grading scales etc...YOU LEARN NOTHING but yet you are ALWAYS under a HUGE amount of stress and pressure for no apparent reason.

It is a lot of reading and she wants you to analyze EVERYTHING in each story she made us read
