DO NOT TAKE SONGE!! I tested out of ENG 1001 and couldve easily made an A-but b/c of this teacher, made a C. On 1 essay, I received a D/F -as she criticized, I realize she hadn't even read it- BIASED towards certain students-grades with no guidelines

Ms. Songe graded by no apparent guidelines; she seemed to give out random grades and graded extremely unfairly.

I want to counter some comments other students (mostly freshmen in composition). Through her class I learned how to actually interpret literature and sharpened my writing skills as well.

This was the worst class of my life. I think she had so traumatic incident in life that made her hate all people. Shes out to get you if youre in her class, and marks up your papers just to see pen marks. ....and her jokes arent funny.

Wanna make a bad grade in a class? Then take Ms. Songe. I did awesome on all my papers except the 2nd to last one, and strangely the whole class got Cs on it, then I get a D in the class?

In High School, I was a very good english student! DO NOT TAKE HER. She is VERY picky and I think only likes girls. If I knew she was this bad before I scheduled the class, I would NOT have taken her!!

The teacher has no personality and she does not care about you as a person. I was very Ill and brought back the proper medical documentation and she gave me 0's on my work. She is very selfish and grades on a personal scale. No one makes A's

DO NOT take Songe for English!!!! I came to her to evaluate my paper and she told me to correct just a couple of things and it was fine and then when I turned it in she gave me a D. She doesn't promote learning she just butchers papers!

Songe isn't a hard teacher, especially if she likes you. However, she tends to pick favorites and will take things personally. If you participate in class you will do fine.

Songe is the absolute worst. I was just taking poetry because I needed one more literature and I thought it would be easy. Yeah right! She is a nightmare! A very biased teacher. Sucks is more like it.

I took her class as an easy elective, however Songe made it a class from hell. I've never made lower than a B in an English class before and she gave me a D on my first paper! She's also very hateful. Steer clear of this one!

Worst teacher in my LSU experience. Won't let you explain your ideas. If the ideas aren't like hers, you get an F. Not bad readings, just terrible teacher! :o(

I found that Mrs. Songe didn't really help my writing experience any and wasnt objective about what she was grading.
