Avoid Neil Kestner at all cost, he is never prepared for class, his test are hard, and he still hasn't figured out how to use the projection system

He was pretty boring, but taught you what you needed to know. I had taken AP Chem in High School so this class was a breeze. I went to class about once every week and a half.

Kestner is a horrible teacher. You cannot understand him at all, and he is very VERY unprepared for class. He is so bad that he had to curve the final like 20 pts b/c it was a departmental final and everyone did horrible.

I loved Chemistry until i had the dreaded Kestner. My advice when taking Chemistry 1201, TAKE ANYONE BUT KESTNER or be prepared to repeat the course

You basically teach yourself in his class, and he's somewhat confusing when you ask him to explain things. Not a good teacher in my opinion.

He reminds me of Mr. Magoo. Takes more than half the class trying to work the computer or chasing baloons, then when he lectures he teaches over your head

If you like math, great. Kestner's idea of teaching was: "I'll show you the equation first, and MAYBE I'll tell you what it means if we have time."
