Raymond actually works as a programmer, so he is very realistic and teaches you how to program "in the real world." Great teacher!

this is not an easy A. the (open-book) test were relatively easy-but only if you had the old tests. he is very strict on the program assignments and grades them pretty hard. he is also monotone, but funny.

The absolute best computer science teacher I have ever had. He's big on error checking and making your programs 'hack-proof'. It's a lot of work but very interesting. No tricks on tests. What you see is what you get.
