Bill is one of those teachers you go home and cry about on the first day of school, but end up being his best friend by the end of semester and the kid he tells hello and remembers your name until you leave LSU. Dont be afraid-- TAKE HIM!!!

Shearman's illogical grading (he only issues letter grades) and negativity toward students (he plays favorites) ruined this class for me.

He's a nice, entertaining guy, but there is no logic to his grading.

Although I got a C in his class, Mr. Shearman was one of the most interesting teachers I have ever had. Being in his class made me want to learn more about the mass comm field and become a better writer. I really enjoyed this class!

Mr. Shearman is the best professor I have ever been taught by; he KNOWS HIS STUFF and although you have to attend class and do your work... it's a really enjoyable course. I would reccomend this class to anyone who is serious about majoring in MC.

Mr. Shearman really knows his stuff. He's a tough grader, but I learned a lot. I feel very prepared for my future mass comm classes.
