She makes this class very interesting and interactive. I enjoyed it a lot. She grades all homework and there are lots of quizzes and papers though.

This is a good class, and Ms. McGuire really likes poetry and is enthusiastic about it. But, don't take it during intersession like I did. It will near about kill you, and may put you off poetry for a good while.

McGuire was great and the writing assignments were very interesting. Our only reading was The Things They Carried, which was great.

I loved Prof. McGuire. She's a great teacher, who makes the material interesting. Some of the reading was boring, but for the most part it was an intriguing class.
