She can come off as being a little rude, but overall, she is a nice lady who wants you to do well. Has a problem with cell phones going off in class, just turn them off before.

She is very friendly and energetic. You absolutely have to read the book. Most of her questions come from it and some from lecture. Go to every class because she offers spontaneous bonus points and if you aren't there you're out of luck!

Can be a little spastic at times and puts stuff on the test that wasn't covered. Read the book!

This class was easy but some a$$ stole my book from under my feet and I couldn't afford a new one. If you read the book and go to class you will get an easy A.

If you take this class, READ THE BOOK before the exam. She words things weird on the tests so you have to really know the material before hand. Shes kind of...rude I guess (for lack of a better word) she gets obnoxious when people question grades.

She discourages you the moment you take the course.SOCL is easy but she made it as hard as possible. She does not want students to do good. She bragged on how most students only gets a "C".Only take that her if you want to be discouraged. Hard tests

You have to go class, she gaves extra points for being there, her test come straight from her lectures, which are straight from the book

Pretty interesting class. Miss Shackelford is a good teacher who really knows her stuff. Quizzes make or break you, and she gives easy extra credit. The tests are easy and a lot of the info is common sense.

Ms. Shackelford is a great teacher! I took the class as a night class and she never kept us more than 2 hours. The material is interesting and if you go to class you'll get an A on the test

She gives lots of extra credit, especially if you go to class- if you go to class, listen and do the easy extra credit you should get an A
