Landolt is very helpful but his class is a little boring, also don't buy the book, the tests are straight from the notes.

It's an interesting alternative to normal sciences if you hate them, like me. Prof. Landolt is a cute, old man. With a little effort you're bound to get an A. Extremely fair class.

He refers to a book from 1967 for majority of his notes and test questions. I suggest that you get the book by Robert Baker from the stacks in the basement of the library. It's the only thing that saved me.

I would definitely not recommend this teacher. He is not a very good teacher so all you have to rely on is the study guide which has about 400-500 questions. He picks a total of 30 questions out of the study guide.

This class was fairly interesting. Landolt is a pretty good teacher, but can be boring sometimes. He's definitely willing to help if you need it. This class isn't a cakewalk, but it's not too difficult either.

Landolt knows his stuff, but will put you to sleep if you aren't a PHYS/ASTR major.
