He has a great personality, but his exams are obviously tricky. You'll go in thinking they're easy and that you aced them, but in reality, it's not true. Very little, if any, literal homework, except if you want to read online material.

Herndon is excellent!! Make sure you go to lectures, and he'll generally help you out with any questions or problems. The class is informative and entertaining and worth the effort anyway!

Dr. Jeff Herdon does lecture fast but his tests come straight from the notes. This class requires great note taking skills, so be prepared to take notes. There are 3 multiple choice tests. Just study the notes he gives you and you should be fine.

Herndon is awesome!! he is a great teacher and he makes you learn without even realizing that you are. There are 3 tests, multiple choice. Go to class, you will learn what you need to know and he gives extra credit. AWESOME!!!!

I knew everything from my notes and could have written wonderful essays on the materials, but the multiple choice questions were tricky. Dr. Herndon is a really smart guy, so I do not think he realizes that he is making an easy class difficult.

Dr Herndon is a fantastic teacher. He's really funny. He can violate my privacy ANY time he wants. He has a Superman tie, but acknowledges that Batman IS better. He watches the Daily show.

Dr. Herndon knows what he is talking about and often has interesting stories to tell about the topic being covered; however, he is a bit of a smart aleck. He's real "buddy buddy" with any honors kids & cares nothing of anyone else.

Dr. Herndon's lectures are very interesting. If you don't like history, you won't like the class, but the tests are pretty straight foward and if you listen to all of his stories, you should do really well!
