Shelledy is, for lack of a better word, a badass. He is an awesome teacher. BUT, his class is NOT EASY by any means. You have to work hard to get a good grade. But if you're willing to work, then absolutely take Shelledy!

Love Shelledey, but he will make you work for your grade. Positive note is that if you survive Shelledey he will love you for it, and that can help out down the road for mass comm. He is intimidating at first but he eases up and likes anyone with a sense of humor. Don't take the daily USA Today quizes lightly, they help a lot. Also, he gives bad grades at first but don't let it discourage you, they will come up and he grades off progress.

I've never had so much fun in a class. Shelledy is a blast. Humor writing is part of the curriculum and he his humor is great. You will learn a lot about writing, don't be scared by first few bad grades.JS has no tolerance for slackers.
